Welcome to the Autumn Term!
We are all so excited to welcome you into Year 3 or 4! This term, our topic is 'Raiders of the Lost Empire' and we will be learning all about the Romans. Who were they? Where did they live? How long ago did they live? What were their lives like? Are there any famous Romans?
The teachers have got their classrooms ready to welcome you in and we can't wait to fill the displays with your new knowledge and impressive work! It's going to be a great term!
We were set a task in DT to create and make our own Roman sandal. Here are some of our creations.
A Very Special Delivery
On Thursday, we received a very special delivery from pretend archaeologist Jim Smith who had dug up "an old, rusty helmet". He asked the children to study his find, feeding back their research. The children not only came up with some excellent questions before they started their research, but managed to answer all of them through their investigations.
